Stardek Care Instruction

Congratulations!  You can look forward to years of beauty and convenience with your new Stardek® surface.

CLEAN REGULARLY with a garden hose or pressure washer, occasionally using detergent such as Simple Green or Zep Purple Industrial Cleaner Degreaser.

USE NO SOLVENTS OR "PINE-SOL"!

REGULAR OIL AND GREASE should not harm the surface and can be wiped up with a paper towel.

TAR can be easily removed with kerosene only. BATTERY ACID should be kept off the coating.

GASOLINE can discolor the surface. Avoid over filling the tank. If a spill does occur, rinse immediately with water and dab (do nut rub) with a clean towel.

TRANSMISSION  FLUID should not be left on the surface more than a few hours. Wipe up with a clean towel.

RUST can be removed using CLR (Calcium, Lime & Rust Remover) available for purchase from your local hardware store.

TIRE SKID MARKS require PROFESSIONAL  touch-up by your Stardek® Installer. This can be done for a small fee.

FERTILIZER and INSECTICIDE: Some products can damage the coating. If rust or discoloration develops, call your Installer for professional removal or touch up.

We recommend that your Stardek® surface be resealed every 5 to 8 years to maintain its luster.
